The Course
The course is set on the side and top of Holm Hill however it does not pose too great a strain on your legs. Trees are somewhat sparse, but visitors will find the small greens difficult to reach in par figures. The course offers scenic views over Newcastleton and Liddesdale Hills.

Clubhouse
Changing facilities are available and there are ladies and gents toilets plus a wash hand basin. The bar/lounge area is not normally open during the week, but can be opened by request.

How to get to the Course
At the end of Hawick High Street, on A7 heading towards Carlisle, before the road ends, take a sharp left onto the B6399 to Newcastleton. A twisty road, you’ll pass Lyle and Scott on the right. Check in at Home Hardware shop opposite the Bank of Scotland, hand in your ticket and proceed to Golf Club. Distance from Hawick, 20.6 miles. Or from Carlisle on the A7 vis Canonbie.
